Tony Holiday

There’s something about Tony Holiday that draws people together. In fact, community has been at the core of Holiday’s young career from the beginning. Since relocating from Salt Lake City to Memphis in 2017, Holiday has been at the center of a soul blues revival in Memphis, anchored by a contingent of young, savvy well-schooled musicians with a “family-like” attitude and a strong belief in one another. Mentored by past legends, Holiday and this loose Memphis collective are building on the city’s rich traditions and carrying them forward. 

The/Theys

We’re not drawing a line in the sand, we’re painting the whole picture from scratch. With every song, idea, and conversation, we allow ourselves to be defined only by the end results of our creations. We are a group that is devoted to authentic creativity, that stems from a rapid fire “no one knows” mentality. With this project, we plan on growing creatively, artistically, and professionally through our combined effort to hone in on our ability to freely express ourselves, and have a great time doing so. This is a passion project from all of us that will be everchanging and evolving along with us. Thank you to everyone who takes the time to ride with us, or check us out. 

J-Rad Cooley

J-Rad Cooley is a young harmonica/piano player as well as an original songwriter from Salt Lake City, Utah. Portraying musical genres such as Blues, Jazz, Soul, and more.

Rick Gerber

Writing songs in the wake of the past greats Rick Gerber is a singer songwriter, performer, and a multi instrumentalist. Blending looping, and playing off of the cusp. In the cut. From the hip. He is a musician who has his head in the game. As the front man of Badfeather, and a multi faceted dueling pianist, troubadour and member of several bands, and stand in for many more, such as.  Blues Traveler, Project Logic, and The Willy Walden Project, ‘to name a few’, the man knows no bounds. Boasting a catalogue of over 300 original songs and counting. Spanning pop, country, indie, soul, funk, and music new to the mind’s ear Rick Gerber is an unstoppable force in the musical arts!
